Diligent Daughters' Apothecary is a labor of love, created by two friends with a shared mission. We saw our parents experiencing cognitive decline, and wanted to help. This led us to specialize in creating custom blends designed to promote mental clarity. We believe in the power of natural remedies, and are dedicated to helping people achieve optimal health. Our Story
Diligent Daughters' Apothecary began when Edwina Chen noticed her parents cognitive declines and wanted to help. The always tenacious Edwina began to read every research article she could find, scouring Chinese medicine and organics databases, before ultimately creating her own database of compiled knowledge. From there, she began sourcing ingredients and learning about the chemistry of stabilizing compounds. The result was a leave-in conditioner she began giving to her parents.

Ashley and Edwina met because they both live with a condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. After bonding over their own shared condition, they realized they also share the experience of having family members with cognitive decline. Edwina taught Ashley about her formula and began making it for Ashley's father-in-law. They quickly realized that this was something they wanted to make available to those around them and so Diligent Daughters' was born.
